How to use the pill splitter?
JC Safety Shield Pill Cutter will work on large or small oval pills and open without difficulty.
Don't push the pill in or the sides of the guide will bend and move your pill. Just ease it in straight across.
Then without bumping the splitter, gently close the top and snap it shut. Your pill will be cut in equal halves.
If you have a score line on the pill, use that as your guide for positioning the pill straight. If you pull the pill in
vertically, it will still cut, however, it is more apt to splinter more due to the oval shape.
This is a great pill cutter for a variety of pill sizes. You have to be sure to center the medication well
or you may have a bunch of chips and medicine debris, but it’s simple to use all in all.
